– “Al-Mustateel Al-Akhdhar” (Green Pitch) won the Golden Sail Award in the category of radio sports programmes, jointly with Radio Kuwait.
– “Yawmiyat Um Suhnoon” (Um Suhnoon Daily Routines) series won the Golden Sail Award in the category of radio comedy drama.
– Director Ahmed Yacoub Al-Muqla’s “Zaqqum” series won the Golden Sail Award in the category of television community drama.
– “Hashtaq Show” programme won the Golden Sail Award in the category of TV drama, together with Saudi TV.
– “Juzur Al-Amados” (Al-Amados Islands) won the Silver Sail Award in the category of radio community drama, alongside Radio Kuwait.
– “Souk Okaz” (Okaz Market) won the Silver Sail Award in the category of radio cultural programmes.
– “Panorama Al-Malaaeb” (Panorama of Stadiums) programme won the Silver Sail Award in the category of sports TV programme, jointly with Oman TV.
– “BeAware” break won the Silver Sail Award in the category of awareness-raising TV breaks.
– “Eyaluna” (Our Children) programme won the Silver Sail Award in the category of family and child category.
Al-Dossari expressed great pride in the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the media sector, contributing to the distinction of the Bahraini media and its personnel.
The assistant undersecretary expressed congratulations to the Information Affairs Minister, Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, for the outstanding achievements of the programmes of Bahrain Radio and Television.
He pledged that this distinction and hard work will continue in order to better serve Bahraini media and highlight the kingdom’s bright civilised and developmental image.
He indicated that the distinguished accomplishments of Bahraini media competencies add to the kingdom’s rich record in this regard, and confirm the quality of Bahrain’s radio and television works that meet the needs of the viewers and listeners, earning them GCC and Arab acclaim.
