The GCC delegation was headed by Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Affairs Minister and Chairman of the current session of the Ministerial Council, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, with the participation of GCC foreign ministers and the GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef bin Falah Mubarak Al Hajraf.

The GCC foreign ministers expressed their condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, extending their wishes to His Majesty King Charles III for further success and prosperity.

The meeting highlighted the longstanding strategic GCC-UK relations to achieve goals.

The two sides discussed cooperation in various areas including politics, economics and security, as well as exchanging views on various regional and international issues of mutual interest.
