The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the friendly Federal Republic of Brazil, Bader Abbas Al-Halibi, participated in the forum (Expanding Commercial Partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Santa Catarina), which was organised by the Federation of Voluntary Business Associations in cooperation with the embassy and Federal Representative Caroline de Toni, in the presence of representatives of the Arab and Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, investment companies and a number of businessmen.

The ambassador stressed the importance of this forum in strengthening the economic, trade and investment partnership between the two friendly countries, in light of the positive outcomes of the visit of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, to the Kingdom of Bahrain at the invitation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa last November and the opening of the Brazilian embassy in Manama.

The participants in the forum highlighted strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Brazil and noted the investment opportunities between the two sides. They also lauded the economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries and reviewed means of enhancing them in the interest of both parties.
