Al Jasra Handicrafts Center is organizing a workshop on Painting on Pottery Dishes. Pottery is one of the most historical famous Bahraini industries that has been practiced since ancient times, with archaeological research indicating its spread for thousands of years, due to the availability of materials suitable for this industry locally. The variety of pottery products presented is a model for the development of the Bahraini artisan who imbibed the workmanship from their ancestors.

Workshop topics include:

Learn how to establish a pottery dish to draw
Learn how to put contact and coloring on a pottery dish

Workshop Outcomes:

Each participant will be given two plates of pottery from his work during the workshop
