His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held a phone call today with HM King Abdulla II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan and was reassured about his health.

HM the King congratulated the Jordanian monarch on the success of the surgery he had undergone, wishing him quick recovery and good health to continue the march of development and progress in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under his wise leadership.

The Jordanian monarch reassured HM the King about his good health and thanked him for his noble fraternal feelings which reflect strong brotherly relations binding the two countries.

In the call, the two leaders discussed latest regional developments, urging support to all efforts to halt escalation in the City Jerusalem and to respect the rights of Muslims to practise their religious rites freely and without restrictions.
