His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa participated in a tripartite summit with His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussain of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and President of the Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The summit, which convened in Sharm El-Sheikh today, spotlighted strong fraternal relations and constructive cooperation regarding issues of common interest. Discussions also focused on the latest regional and international developments and the challenges facing the region.
The three leaders underlined deep-rooted strategic relations between the three countries and the importance of bolstering them to achieve common goals and aspirations. They welcomed the upcoming summit which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between the leaders of the GCC countries, Jordan, Egypt, the Iraqi Prime Minister and the US President Joe Biden.
The three leaders affirmed at the end of the summit the need to continue coordination and consultation regarding the current issues so as to promote Arab national security and serve pan-Arab work. They also asserted support to all counter terrorism efforts to maintain security and stability.
