HM King receives Northern Governorate Ramadan wellwishers

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received this evening at Al Sakhir Palace – in the presence of of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HM the King’s Personal Representative HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa amd Supreme Council for Youth and Sports First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and BOC President HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa– well wishers from the Northern Governorate marking the holy month of Ramadan.

The wellwishers greeted HM the King and congratulated him on the holy month of Ramadan, wishing him good health and happiness and Bahrain and its loyal people further progress and prosperity.

They expressed deepest thanks and gratitude to HM the King for the development projects in the Northern Governorate thanks to HM the King’s royal directives.

HM the King delivered a speech in which he welcomed the audience and congratulated them on the holy month of Ramadan, wishing them many happy returns.

“Here is Bahrain, despite all the challenges, with the determination of its people and their confident steps towards a  brighter tomorrow, and with a beautiful return to the images of life we entrusted with our rapprochement and communication and united endeavor… to raise the flag of the nation”, he said.

He reiterated thanks and gratitude to all those who exert sincere efforts and assume their national duty, which represents the pillar of safety stability for society, armed with its national constants, authentic values and unity that enhance its performance.

HM the King expressed sadness at the recurrent unfortunate events at  Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing the need to stop such acts and allow religious rites to be performed in safety and reassurance for all, out of respect for the holiness of the Houses of God and reverence for their sanctities.

“There is no solution to this ongoing conflict between the Palestinian and Israeli peoples, except with the establishment of the two states in accordance with the international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative”, he said, stressing the need for all followers of religions coexist in this Holy Land in tolerance, harmony and peace.

University of Bahrain (UoB) Professor Dr. Faisal Hameed Al Mulla then delivered a speech, on behalf of citizens in the Northern Governorate, expressing Ramadan greetings to HM the King, reiterating allegiance to HM the King.

He hailed HM the King’s approach of openness and communication with his loyal people, wishing him abundant health and wellbeing and Bahrain and its people further development and progress in the prosperous era.

Dr. Al Mulla hailed development strides in the Northern Governorate, and the Kingdom of Bahrain as a whole, thanks to the royal directives, lauding HM the King’s community and humanitarian drive.

He commended the role played by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation which contributed to spreading the values of social category, highlighting charity programmes, in cooperation with benevolent people, to support needy families.

He stressed the Northern Governorate’s support to Team Bahrain, led by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, out of its approach that aspires to enforce sustainable development for a better life and cement the values of allegiance and citizenship.

Dr. Ali Mansour Nasr Al Shehab then recited a poem before HM the King on this occasion, on behalf of Dr. Abdulla Ahmed Mansour Al-Radhi.
