His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of thanks and appreciation from Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh for opening of the first session of the sixth legislative term.

The Shura Council Chairman commended the royal speech and directives to specify national priorities in the upcoming years and chart the traits of a more prosperous future for the Kingdom of Bahrain. He pledged to continue the efforts to serve Bahrain and its people, promote the state of law and institutions and bring about further accomplishments. He also pledged to continue the march of reform and modernization led by HM the King to enhance development and consolidate the kingdom’s standing as a civilizational model of comprehensive growth and peace.
