HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s honouring of service centres praised by Interior Minister

Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, today chaired a meeting with Interior Ministry officials. The meeting reviewed the performance of the Ministry’s service centres.The Interior Minister expressed sincere appreciation for His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for honouring the Ministry’s service centres for being ranked in the gold category in the third session of the Taqyeem “evaluation” programme. He said that the honouring was a motive to enhance performance to promote the competitiveness and sustainability principles in service providing.He thanked the winning centres for the achievement, calling for the need to address the shortcomings and study recommendations.The Interior Minister asserted the importance of continuing to provide the best services to citizens and residents as part of the community partnership.

The Minister was briefed by the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) Chief Executive and Taqyeem Committee Chairman about the evaluation categories and statistics, along with the performance of the Interior Ministry’s authorities in the National Suggestion and Complaint system “Tawasul”.
