His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Binance, Chanpeng Zhao, at Riffa Palace.

His Royal Highness highlighted that the Kingdom’s financial services and digital technology sector continues to develop and has created quality opportunities for Bahraini citizens.

His Royal Highness noted that Bahrain’s attractive business environment enhances its competitive position and comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness commended the efforts of international companies in managing digital assets and recognised their importance in driving the digital transformation that the world is experiencing, especially in financial services and digital technology.

His Royal Highness noted that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to support the advancement of all sectors to benefit the Kingdom and its citizens.

For his part Mr Zhao expressed his thanks to His Royal Highness, noting the strong potential that the Kingdom of Bahrain has for business development and investment, and wished the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain, HE Rasheed Al Maraj, also attended the meeting.
