His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the newly appointed Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, HE Abdelhamid Ahmed Khoja, at Riffa Palace.

His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, and to further cooperation and joint coordination across all fields to reach shared goals.

His Royal Highness welcomed the Ambassador’s appointment to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and wished him success in performing his diplomatic duties.

The latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of common interest, were reviewed.

For his part, HE Khoja expressed his thanks for His Royal Highness’ commitment to developing bilateral relations, noting Algeria’s commitment to furthering cooperation and mutual coordination with the Kingdom of Bahrain.
