Information Minister congratulates journalist Rashid Al Hamar on being elected member of IFJ Executive Bureau
Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi congratulated journalist Rashid Nabil Al Hamar, the Secretary and International Relations of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA), on his election as member of the Executive Bureau of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ). The election took place as part of the federation’s 31st general conference which was hosted by the Omani capital Muscat.The Minister of Information described the well-deserved achievement, which is added to Bahrain’s track-record of accomplishments, as a reflection of the international community’s confidence in the Bahraini press and the kingdom’s advanced standing among the member states of the international press gathering which represents more than 600,000 journalists from 120 countries in the world.The Minister of Information wished journalist Rashid Al Hamar and BJA Board of Directors every success in representing the Kingdom of Bahrain and Bahrain press in regional and international gatherings.
