Bahrain Switchgear & Lighting Industries (BSLI) was formed in 1986 as a manufacturing division of AKA Ansari W.L.L. with a factory located at Sitra Industrial area in Bahrain. Initially the company was formed to manufacture LV Switchgear and Distribution Board. From these humble beginnings the company developed into a major player on the island among Electrical Industries providing DEKRA type-tested LV Switchgear, Motor Control Center and Distribution Boards. Associations were also cemented with International Manufacturers and suppliers of Electrical components such as General Electric (GE), EBB, Schneider, Doepke, and Controls & Switchgear (C&S), to ensure that the manufactured product was of a superior quality. These were major turning points for BSLI and encouraged Mr. Abdul Khaliq Al Ansari to look into other ventures and introduced high quality Light Fittings, Cables, PVC pipes, fittings and wiring accessories. These highly qualified products are now well known in Bahrain Market. We are dedicated to the incessant pursuit of even higher levels of product quality and excellence in services. Accreditation
BLISS is authorized distributor and licensed channel partner of General Electric. BSLI is licensed to assemble SEN Plus Panels of Low Voltage Switchboards & MCCs in accordance to IEC 61439-2 standards.

Range of Products
Our product line includes electrical distribution and control solutions, such as switchgear, motor control centers (MCC), dry type transformers, circuit breakers, distribution and panel boards, safety and disconnect switches, automatic and manual transfer switches (ATS and MTS), and other general purpose controls that are used to distribute and manage power in a variety of residential, commercial and industrial applications. All of GE licensed products are manufactured/offered meeting or exceeding international standards such as the ANSI, IEEE, and IEC standards, regardless of the location of the plant.
