Introduction

Late Haji Ebrahim Maskati founded Maskati Group in 1940 as a modest Drugs & Perfumery shop in the souk area of Bahrain. His son, late Mr. Ali Ebrahim Maskati, expanded the business into the pharmaceutical segment, establishing Maskati Pharmacy, Bahrain’s first pharmacy. Today, the company is managed by the experienced sons of late Mr. Ali Ebrahim Maskati.

Growth and Expansion

Maskati Pharmacy W.L.L., from its humble beginnings in the 1940s, has grown into one of Bahrain’s leading pharmacies. In 2009, the company diversified into multiple divisions, including Pharmaceutical, Medical, Cosmetics, and Wholesale, forming “MASKATI GROUP for Trading & Medical Supplies W.L.L.” The company is registered as a Closed Joint Stock Company under Bahrain Law with a share capital of BD 400,000.000 (US$ 1.06 million).
