Sharif Group was founded by the late Mohamed Sharif AlRayes in 1956 in the capital city of Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. The Group trades under its legalname “Mohamed Sharif Mohamed & Sons B.S.C.©”, a closed Bahraini shareholding Company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce under commercial registration number 598 obtained on 6 February 1974.The share capital of the Company amounts to BD 1,800,000 issuedand fully paid up.The Group is headquartered at Sharif House, Building 41, Road 2701, Adliya 327, Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Group entry into tailoring business in the 1960’s during the development of Bahrain’s commercial and retail industries marked an era of fine tailoring in Bahrain.From its humble beginning, the enterprise expanded into the trade of watches in 1971 which was followed in 1981 by establishment of agarments factory. Soon after its gradual success, the venture expanded into different companies catering in addition to tailoring, garments and time pieces to the trading and retailing of textiles, fashion accessories, leather, gifts & promotional items as well as electronic items.
