Parliamentary delegation to participate in Arab Scout Parliamentary Union’s General Assembly

A parliamentary delegation, led by the Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee at the Shura Council, Ridha Ibrahim Munfaredi, will take part in the 14th General Assembly of the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union, set to be held in Kuwait on May 11.

The delegation also comprises members of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Amer and Zainab Abdulameer.

The general assembly will discuss the administrative and financial reports of the Secretariat-General of the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union for 2021-2022.

It will also feature the election of the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union’s President, Vice-president, the Secretary-General as the Treasurer, in addition to the opening of the youth scouts forum, “Tamkeen”.

It will also discuss the final statement of the 32nd conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union and review the proposals submitted to the Secretariat-General.

The General Assembly will also adopt the membership of a number of Arab parliamentarians in the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union and honour Arab scouts pioneers.
