The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received here today the Special Representative for Maritime Security in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Senior Civilian Representative (SCR) of the European Maritime Awareness in the Strait of Hormuz, Ambassador Jakob Brix Tange, in the presence of the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jérôme Cauchard.

They discussed the importance of joint cooperation in enhancing the security, safety and freedom of maritime traffic and international trade in the Arabian Gulf region.

They also highlighted the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen the partnership with European Union countries in promoting security, peace and stability at the regional and international levels.
